About the Company and Role
We are an early-stage startup seeking a seasoned electrical engineer who has the unique combination of electrical engineering and firmware programming technical expertise and product vision. We are creating an entirely new market space, and you will be responsible for ensuring the workability and interaction with our hardware technology. You will work with the mechanical engineering team to ensure product workability and report directly to the Head of Engineering.

You will work cross-functionally with the business development, product management, and marketing teams as well as with the CEO and executive staff directly. This position is full time and relocation to Denver, Colorado is required.

What you’ll do: 

• Design, build, and verify PCBAs integral to new R&D project initiatives.
• Write, optimize and maintain over time FW code.
• Maintaining communication within the development team.
• Maintaining project schedules.
• Cross-functional organization, communication, and management.
• Travel to support manufacturing + early R&D builds.
• Reporting and presenting to management on project status and schedules.
• Support new product introduction.
• Create, modify, and update schematics, BOMs, and PCB layouts for new and existing products.
• Write test specifications and procedures for electrical and electromechanical assemblies.
• Provide test fixture repair support for manufacturing, QA, and contract manufacturers during NPI.
• Troubleshoot product failures on PCBs, power supplies, and electromechanical assemblies during initial ramp.
• Document new product releases or corrective actions (NCR, CAPA) by creating DCNs (ECOs).
• Write embedded or PC-level software to control PCB text fixtures.
• Create/execute verification and validation protocols for test fixtures, procedures, and software.
• Follow Cipher Skins design control and documentation procedures (PLM experience helpful).

Required Qualifications: 

• Experience with C, Embedded C, python, Git, CLI, GitHub, Linux.
• Extensive programming with Silicon Labs, Simplicity Studio.
• Familiar with PSpice, Oregano, PADS, Altium or other PCB Design Software.
• Strong familiarity with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Power and Memory Management.
• Exposure to Raspberry Pi or Beagle bone board, and node-red.

Additional Qualifications: 

• Adaptability: broad interest in science and technology with a willingness and interest in expanding into new fields and learning new techniques and skills.
• Solid understanding of numerical modeling, design of experiments, and prototype fabrication methods.
• Experience conducting technology assessments and analysis of alternatives.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Previous experience with medical devices or other regulated products.
• Ability to code Python is a plus.
• PID controls development experience.

What you’ll bring: 

• 5+ years of relevant Electrical Engineering experience in one or more of the following. areas: product design, new product release, test engineering, manufacturing support.
• Previous experience with medical devices or other regulated products is desirable.
• Strong analog, digital, and power circuit design, test, and debugging capabilities.
• Schematic and PCB layout experience, preferably with Altium Designer.
• Firmware development/management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• SMD and through-hole soldering.
• Experience with embedded microcontrollers and low power devices.
• Familiarity with wired/wireless communications (I2C, SPI, USB, Bluetooth).
• Electromechanical design, assembly, and troubleshooting.
• Software experience – C is a must.
• BLE working knowledge.
• Battery consumption optimization.
• Understanding of serial communication protocols I2C, SPI, UART.
• Working with EE to bring up a PCB.
• Experience with sensors or other ICs communicating over SPI and/or I2C.
• Self-motivated, team player, with a strong desire to learn new skills and grow.
• Ability to multitask or focus on detailed problems, and tenacity to drive issues until resolved.

We are an early-stage startup seeking a seasoned Full-Stack Software Engineer, who has significant, multidisciplinary, engineering experience with mobile-first applications, data integration, as well as working knowledge of data science.  Our platform is in AWS and our primary language is Python.

You will be the primary architect of Cipher Skin Cloud™, our database as well as the primary author of Cipher Skin’s Data Fingerprint™. You will report directly to the VP of Engineering. This position is full-time and relocation to Denver, Colorado is preferred.

What you’ll do:

• Build / Deploy / Scale our data platform. Specific tasks will include:
• Manage AWS platform (EC2, BeanStalk, Lambda)
• Define, Implement and Maintain scalable database (RDS, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Enable secure connection to iOS/Android/MacOS/Windows devices
• Monitoring data traffic and trigger system Alerts

Qualifications must include some of the following:

• A bachelor’s degree in one of the following is required from a top tier engineering program: Computer Science, Data Science, Symbolic Systems, Mathematics, Physics; STRONG preference for Master’s degree.
• Must have prior experience with AWS. Preferably with features such as Cognito, Amplify, Lambda Functions, EC2, S3. Professional AWS Certification strongly preferred.
• Preferably have experience with web technologies such as socket.io, WebRTC, and Twilio.
• Extensive experience writing scalable APIs and micro-services
• Strong curiosity and a willingness to learn and talk about emerging technologies along with a positive and enthusiastic engagement style.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals, software design and programming skills in Python, Django. 
• Experience in enterprise application design and development of systems in Linux/Unix environment.
• Direct experience with design/development of highly available, distributed and scalable applications.
• Experience in source code management tools like git / SVN.
• Experience in Relational Databases. 
• Understanding of NoSQL Databases, other forms of persistence mechanisms and distributed caches.
• Experience with relational database models.
• Knowledgeable about HIPAA Compliance.
• Demonstrate innovative and creative thinking capabilities and also have sharp troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in developing multi-threaded programs is required.
• Sound knowledge in operating systems concepts is required.

The Inside Account Manage (IAM) is responsible for providing proactive direct sales support, driving business growth, and accelerating product adoption for Cipher Skin’s recovery and physical therapy clients.

This Inside Account Manager will use their deep industry experience to recommend solutions that will resolve customer needs and increase customer satisfaction both before and after the sales process is complete. The IAM should be able to identify customer needs and propose solutions in a timely and structured manner. They will also provide ongoing support and client training and will be responsible for measuring client satisfaction. This role will be a first point of contact for the customer. They will understand the clients’ business goals and strategy and will help identify gaps in their patient journey and processes with the goal of converting these needs into sales. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the healthcare industry along with outstanding sales and interpersonal skills. Ultimately, a good Inside Account Manager is tech savvy, analytical, and well organized.

Qualifications

Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience in technical support and inside sales/account management.
• Previous healthcare experience working with clinics and hospital systems.
• Experience with project management tools like MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
• Knowledge of CRM business processes and features (HubSpot).
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project planning and project management skills.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.

Preferred:

• Physical Therapy degree or experience in the PT industry.
• Previous experience working with a SaaS business.

Responsibilities:

• Create, manage, and implement full-cycle Account Management plan (from onboarding to upselling and renewal).
• Oversee customer support on all accounts.
• Manage customer expectations and alignment with delivery team.
• Maintain customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction and success.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for any problems with clients
• Help clients develop a strategy that maximizes business value.
• Handle billing and invoicing for the clients.
• Work in close contact with sales and product teams to ensure quality of company output and delivery of services within key account.
• Manage client risk while ensuring that client support is providing on time, within budget, and with exceptional quality.
• Be involved in pilot scoping of all main projects and related resource planning.
• Track account metrics versus account plan.
• Hire and train inside account representative to support growth and customer satisfaction goals.
